When buying goods from us online you confirm that you agree to our Terms and Conditions, and that we may be in contact with you and electronically send invoices through to you.
When registering as an online shopper, you will need to create your own password. Your user name and password will be requested by one of our specialists each time you shop online with us. It is your responsibility to keep your user name and password safe and private. CJ Design Elements accepts no liability for any damages you may suffer or any losses from unauthorised use on your profile.
Products and Pricing
All products displayed on our website are subject to availability. In case of an item being ordered by you that is not available, a specialist will be in contact with you to provide feedback on the matter as soon as possible. Kindly take note that our products are only available for delivery in South Africa.
The prices on our website are in South African Rands and are only valid and effective in South Africa.
We have made every effort to accurately display the products with regard to their colour, description and pricing. Please remember that the colours reflecting on our website may depend on the device you are using and we cannot guarantee that products will be the exact same shade when received.
We will not accept any order if there has been a material error to the price or description of the product. We will inform you of such errors as soon as we are aware of them.
A delivery fee will be charged for every order placed by you. The current fee will be confirmed with you once an order is placed.
CJ Design Elements will arrange for products to be delivered to your door. We are not available for deliveries during weekends and public holidays, our ability to deliver is also subject to the availability of the product and the supply of accurate delivery address details.
Be assured that we always do our best to ensure all deliveries happen within a timely manner. Should we be unable to deliver products to your delivery address within the time periods specified above, you will be contacted by a specialist as soon as we become aware the matter.
On delivery of your order, a single document containing your invoice, packing slip and returns form will be handed to you, it is your responsibility to ensure you receive these documents.
Please ensure that you or your representative is available at the delivery address. If anyone other than the purchaser is accepting delivery of the products at the delivery address, they are presumed to be authorised to accept the products on your behalf. In certain instances the person accepting delivery might need to provide a form of identification. On delivery we will require that you or your representative sign a duplicate copy of the delivery note and fill in your or their name. This is to confirm that the products have been received. If no one is at the delivery address to accept delivery, you will be contacted to arrange an alternative time. We reserve the right to charge an additional fee in the event of more than one failed delivery should we deem this fit to the specific scenario.
Our deliveries and collections are all outsourced and, (permitted by law) we will not be liable for any damage or losses incurred arising out of any act or omission by the deliverer, its directors, employees, sub-contractors, agents or representatives.
If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason (other than if it is defective) and wish to return it, you may do so within fourteen days of delivery. The respective products must be in their original condition and packaging (never been opened) and you must have the invoice / returns form on hand.
Products may be returned at an additional courier charge, which will be for your account. You can contact us at the customer services number to arrange for a courier collection of the item within 3-10 working days. If you are returning via courier, completion of the returns form will be required, specifying the reason why you are returning the item.
If products are faulty or defective, they can be returned within three months of date of purchase provided that the products have been utilized for their intended purpose, and they have been cared for according to any instructions accompanied by the products, we may in certain instances require an assessment of the products as well.
We will either repair or replace the defective products or refund you the value of what you paid for these products. If in our assessment you have not adhered to the use and care instructions of any products, acceptance of return of these products will be refused.
You may in certain instances cancel your order, this should be prior to when the order is dispatched for delivery by clicking on the “cancel” button in your order summary.
If you are paying via credit card, a holding reserve of funds will be placed for the total cost of your online order. Final payment will be processed on confirmation of your order prior to delivery. When submitting your order (below your signed-in user name and password), together with the payment card details, you warrant that you are authorised to use the card, and that sufficient funds are available for the purchase. You consent to our use of services of reputable and secure third party payment service providers in order to process credit card transactions, and acknowledge that doing so necessitates the disclosure of your credit card information when making a purchase.
In the event that you return any products, it will take up to 14 working days to process a refund.
Risk in the goods will pass to you upon delivery of the goods to you or your authorised representative.
We are entitled to amend these online shopping terms and conditions, at our sole discretion, at any time.
